ONQUEST WINS CONTRACT FOR THREE COKER HEATERS FOR TESORO
Fluor Corporation Awards Work for Large ConocoPhillips Designs
(Los Angeles - March 2007) OnQuest Inc., a petroleum technology company based in San Dimas, CA, today announced that it has won the design and supply contract for three large coker heaters for Tesoro refinery units in Martinez, CA and Anacortes, WA.
"We are very pleased to have earned this opportunity, and look forward to continued work with Tesoro and Fluor Corporation," said David Baker, General Manager of OnQuest. The contract was awarded to OnQuest by Fluor Corporation, based in Irving, Texas.
OnQuest will design the coker heaters based on licensed designs from ConocoPhillips. The heaters will include auxiliary equipment including air preheat (APH), selective catalytic reduction units (SCR), and induced and forced draft fans.
An aggressive execution and delivery schedule puts the completion date for these three units in the Spring of 2007.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
