Responsible for control system design, ensuring correct application of design principles and practices, and defining integration into mechanical systems of plants.

| QUALIFICATIONS: |
B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience, with 5+ years as an instrumentation engineer or a controls engineer in a heavy industry. Successful applicant will have a working knowledge of 4-20 mA loops, instruments utilizing Hart protocol, PLC programming, control valve sizing, P&ID drawings, thermocouples and RTDs, and pneumatic-actuated dampers.

Create the design process for furnaces, including for general arrangement of radiant sections, connections, and coils, along with platform and steel design. Use MicroStation to prepare working drawings and 3D modeling. Prepare estimates and cost analyses, fabrication and erection drawings, and typical details. |
| QUALIFICATIONS: |
Min. two (2) years' experience as a structural designer and/or detailer supervisor. Familiarity with MicroStation, 3D modeling software. |
